Terms of service

Last updated: 29 October 2026

This English version is provided for your convenience. The German version is legally binding.

§ 1 Scope and seller

(1) These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders you place through our online shop at lotea.de.

(2) Your contractual partner is Lotéa Naturals, owner Lilya Papazyan, Damerowstraße 58K, 13187 Berlin, Germany, email: info@lotea.de (“we” or “us”).

(3) Our offer is directed at consumers. Deviating terms of the customer only apply if we expressly agree to them.

§ 2 Conclusion of the contract

(1) The presentation of products in the online shop is not a legally binding offer but an invitation to place an order.

(2) You can add products to the cart and enter your details at checkout. Before you submit your order, all order details are shown to you again; you can check them there and correct them using the input fields or your browser’s back function.

(3) By clicking the order button at the end of checkout, you make a binding offer to purchase the goods in your cart. Immediately afterwards, you receive an automatic email confirming receipt of your order.

(4) The contract is concluded when we accept your order with an order confirmation by email or ship the goods to you. When paying with PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Shop Pay, the contract is concluded at the latest when the payment is completed.

§ 3 Contract language and storage of the contract text

(1) The contract language is German. Translations of these terms are for information only; the German version is authoritative.

(2) We store the contract text. We send you the order details with the order confirmation by email. You can view, print and save these terms on this page at any time. If you have a customer account, you can view your orders there.

§ 4 Prices and shipping costs

(1) The prices shown in the online shop at the time of your order apply. Prices are final prices. As a small business under § 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG), we do not charge VAT and therefore do not show it.

(2) Shipping costs may apply in addition to the prices. Shipping costs are shown on our “Shipping” page, in the cart and at checkout.

§ 5 Delivery

(1) We deliver within Germany only.

(2) The delivery time is stated on the “Shipping” page and at checkout. Gift cards are sent by email.

(3) If an ordered product is not available, we will inform you without delay and refund any payments already made without delay.

§ 6 Payment

(1) The available payment methods are shown at checkout (currently in particular credit card, PayPal, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay).

(2) For payments via third-party providers (e.g. PayPal or Klarna), their terms of use also apply.

§ 7 Retention of title

The goods remain our property until paid for in full.

§ 8 Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. See our withdrawal policy for details.

§ 9 Warranty

The statutory warranty rights apply. If an item is defective, please contact info@lotea.de.

§ 10 Subscriptions

For orders with the “Subscribe and save” option, our subscription terms also apply.

§ 11 Gift cards

(1) Gift cards can be redeemed at checkout in the online shop. They do not expire.

(2) Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or used to buy other gift cards. Any remaining balance stays available for later purchases.

(3) If the balance is not enough for an order, you can pay the difference with another available payment method.

§ 12 Liability

(1) We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act.

(2) In the event of a slightly negligent breach of an essential contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on whose fulfilment you may regularly rely), our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.

§ 13 Dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

§ 14 Final provisions

(1) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law only applies insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection of mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which they have their habitual residence.

(2) If individual provisions of these terms are invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
